Our Fitness Classes
We run a range of Fitness and Wellbeing classes throughout the year, including Aqua fit, Spinning, Pilates, Pump, HIIT and Circuit classes for all our members and guests. We have a fully equipped modern Gym with a wide range of fitness and strength equipment. Book your fitness and wellness classes in advance of arriving.
Aqua Fit is aerobics exercises performed in the pool, using the water as resistance. It helps build cardiovascular stamina and improve your flexibility. Exercises in the pool can help with recovery from injuries and help speed up the rehabilitating stage of the injury muscles, bones or joints. Pool or water based activities can be more effective than land based exercises, as there's less stress and strain on your muscles and body.
Active Tribe Gym Cardio
Get your heart rate up with our new H.I.I.T type gym based Cardio classes. Test yourself out against the clock while training on the Rowers, E-Skiers, Assault Bikes and Treadmills. Combine these high Energy exercises for shorter periods with maximum output for greater
results. With shorter rest periods in between or even active recovery sessions you are guaranteed to keep the heart rate up while burning fat in less time as each class is 30 minutes in duration. If you’re under pressure for time to fit your weekly training session in then why not give it a go.
Active Tribe Gym Intro Class
Is designed for new members to Active Tribe who aren’t familiar with the gym and its layout. Or who haven’t trained in several years. Current members can also make use of this class especially if they are struggling with their own training regime and are lacking motivation. It’s a 30-minute session on how to use the equipment correctly and safely while
concentrating on the individuals form and technique. If you are looking for that extra 10%
added to your training, then why not give it a go.
Active Tribe Parent Fitness Group
Parent Fitness Group is a fitness programme with a difference where parents can bring their
little one along to their workout sessions. If you are a new parent getting back into exercise and finding it an uphill struggle to find the time. Fitness classes may seem like the last thing on the agenda. But Active Tribe newest fitness class Parent Fitness Group can help. It will give you the opportunity to meet new parents in the area, make new friends and support each other. Classes will consist of all the Active Tribe classes on offer but with the bonus of your little ones watching on. The benefit of this class is to improve posture, strengthen core muscles and great for fat burning. Active Tribe hopes to introduce all new parents into a new fitness regime while meeting other new parents and having fun while getting fit!
This is an indoor Cycling Class using stationary bikes. In this fantastic cardiovascular class you're kept motivated by the Instructor and like minded people with high energy to music. Spinning or Indoor Cycling classes are always fun and enjoyable.
Is a form of low-impact exercises that aims to strengthen muscles while improving postural alignment and flexibility. You can do Pilates with or without equipment. But no matter what, expect the moves to involve slow, precise movements and breath control. We are mainly targeting the Core area.
Is a type of Strength and Conditioning class, using Bodyweight exercises along with using a variety of equipment such as barbells, dumbbells and kettlebells. Given the Group a total Body workout.
Circuits classes are a form of body conditioning that involves endurance training, resistance training, high intensity aerobics which are all performed in a circuit. They are very time efficient, which makes it a very popular method of group training.
Active 55 will help you live an active and healthy lifestyle. A fun and gentle class for the over 55's that will help keep you toned and flexible along with building strength to muscles and bones.
Outdoor BootCamp is an outdoors class using bodyweight exercises like push-ups, squats and burpees, interspersed with running and competitive games.
